My friends, one thing that gives me hope when faced with hopeless situations is that we serve a God that has already considered the beginning, the present and the end. Consequently, as we daily see our world descending into chao, we must remember God’s word to us in Matthew 24:6-8 saying “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains”.
As Christ followers, we are not to be alarmed with the turmoil around us but rather see it as an opportunity to:
- Draw closer to God – By daily re-examining our own spiritual life. We want to make sure that we live every minute of our lives according to God’s plan and purpose as laid out in the Bible. Living in awareness of God’s presence creates for us the healthy fear of God which is the beginning of wisdom.
- Share the story of our redemption – People are often receptive to learning about the love of Jesus during times of crises. That was the case for me – it was the love of Jesus for me during my time of crisis that led me to repentance. Reminding our circle of influence that the crises they face is not from God but from satan. It is important for them to know that Jesus places tremendous value on their lives hence He paid for it on the cross with His blood while satan on the other hand is desperate to rubbish it in any way he can.
Christ follower, our redemption story is worth sharing because the salvation of our circle of influence depends on it. May God give us the grace to be bold and open doors for us to accomplish His will In Jesus Name. Amen. If you are currently not a Christ follower, the End Time is not a Fiction but a Reality. Come and experience the love of Jesus today because tomorrow may be too late.
All glory to God!
