Build Your faith on the promises of God

My friends, there are many scriptures in the Bible about faith and one of my favorites is Hebrews 11:6 that says “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him”.

The essence of our faith is believing that God exists and through the death and resurrection of His son Jesus Christ, our sins are forgiven and we have the hope of eternity.  All these truths are confirmed by the scriptures and I believe them!

Whilst we are not immune from problems as Christ followers, if we believe the essence of our faith, then the promises of God will work for us because it is Yes and Amen! The above scripture also tells us about another wonderful promise that you and I can build our faith on and that is, “God will reward those who earnestly seek Him”.

Some of the rewards we can expect to enjoy as we build our faith on the promises of God are:

  • Redemption from our life of sin and destruction
  • Protection from evil and oppression
  • Showering us with His mercy and favor
  • Giving us contentment and strength to do life
  • Supplying all our needs according to His riches in glory
  • Flooding our hearts with the light of Heaven and much more…

Christ follower, always remember that to enjoy your Christian journey, you need faith to please God.  So prayerfully ask for God to build your faith in His word.

If you are currently not a Christ follower, the promise of salvation is freely given by God and all you have to do is ask Him to come into your life today.

All glory to God!
