The God Who Walks with Us

My late former boss once told me that in our earthly sojourn we journey as people of God, never alone. If we are fortunate, our brothers, sisters and friends walk with us, but always and forever, God walks with us. I have often pondered on the Truth of these words and in the storms of my own life, this Truth has always provided me with great comfort.

My friends, I know that sometimes the storms of life hit us by surprise without a warning – be it health, financial, emotional, marital, career, business, relationship, fear, loss of a loved one, or whatever the storm may be. And when it does, we are prone to question if God is for us, if He loves us, or if He’s really walking with us.

Rest assured this week that God walks with you always. He loves you and He is for you, regardless of the situations and circumstances you may be going through. Don’t allow Satan to box you into a corner or cause you to isolate yourself and do life alone. Allow Jesus to walk with you in this season and every season of your life (Luke 3:5). Remind us that the Lord Jesus is the only one Who can make our paths straight and the mountains flat for those who trust in Him.

If you are a Christ follower and in despair, this week be encouraged in the Word of God and stand firm on this truth that nothing can separate you from the love of Christ, not even the storms you are going through. The Word of God is Yes and Amen! If you are currently not a Christ follower, Jesus is calling – don’t wait another day.

All glory to God!
