Friends, I don’t know about you but I am a picky eater and it often requires a step of faith for me to taste any food before I eat it. However, when I dare to, the food is not as bad as I thought it would be.
As I ponder on this scripture “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” Psalm 34:8, it is amazing for me that “The Bread of Life – Jesus” (John 6:35-40) is inviting us to come and taste:
- The joy of knowing Him (2 Peter 3:9).
- The confidence of a direct access (through prayer) to the God of impossibilities who is willing and able to meet all our Spiritual, Physical, Emotional and Relational needs (Matthew 7:11).
- The one who puts eternity in our hearts and constantly draws our heart so we can have a personal relationship with Him (John 6:44).
I don’t know about you friends, but for me, this invitation is too good to resist. It is backed with a life-time guarantee. And even better – you will gain eternal life!
If you are currently not a Christ follower, join me in tasting God’s will and God’s provision today by simply asking Him to come into your life and save your soul. If you are already a Christ follower, praise Him for the salvation of your soul.
All Glory to God!
