The Need for God’s Wisdom

My friends, we need wisdom daily, to engage in life’s situations, circumstances and events – and life could be for your career, marriage, health, finances, business, relationships and so on.

When I was faced with life, I relied on my own wisdom to navigate the situation but assuredly, it always resulted in failure and frustration.

The scripture that now helps me to pause and think when I want to navigate my own life is 1 Corinthians 1:25For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength”. Think about this – God knows the past, beginning, present and future, so everything we need to navigate life can only be found in Him and all we have to do is ASK for God’s Wisdom.

When we seek and ask the wisdom of God, we are assured of:

  • God’s protection – In our decision-making process simply because we have not relied on ourselves but relied on Him for guidance.
  • The peace of God – I don’t know about you, but I enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing that the decision I have made about an important issue in my life is the right one.

Christ follower, choose to seek God’s wisdom before you navigate life and you will be amazed at the outcome of your choice. If you are currently not a Christ follower, wisdom without Christ is futile – so come and experience the wisdom of God.

All glory to God!
