The Unshakable Hope

My friends, as our world descends into daily chaos and suicide rate is on the rise, it is evident that a lot of people are now becoming hopeless. Without hope, there is no expectation of a better future.

Yet, the word of God reminds us in Psalm 130:7 to “put your hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love and with him is full redemption”.

Having an unshakable hope starts with us asking Jesus to be the center of our lives in our word, action and deed and as we do so, we begin to look forward to the hope of eternity. As we set our hope on the grace that will be brought to us at the revelation of Jesus Christ we will:

  • Be secure – Our security in life comes from only one source – Jesus. Everything else in life is unsecured and will one day perish. I don’t know about you, I want the security that eternal salvation through Jesus Christ provides.
  • Focus on the word – God’s word is a lamp for our feet and a light on our path. (Psalm 119:105). Unshakable hope is rooted in the word of God – it will keep us encouraged and strengthened in our darkest hour as we journey through life.

Christ follower, let the word of God draw you closer to the unshakeable hope of life – Jesus. If you are currently not a Christ follower, life without hope is an empty and un fulfilling life – come today and experience Jesus.

All glory to God!
