My friends, it is certainly reassuring to know with confidence that our times are in the hands of the Lord, reinforcing the truth that you and I can never have better than God’s plans for our lives. I find this knowledge comforting indeed – particularly during the days that anxiety, fear and uncertainty of life set in.
The ability to draw strength and comfort from the word of God in Psalm 31:15 should give us hope and it states “My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me”.
So, this week, when you are confronted with fear, anxiety, worry, insecurity, shame, lack, or whatever negative voices that satan tries to bring to your remembrance – Just remember:
- Jesus loves you – And never let Satan use your physical, emotional and spiritual experience to cause you to doubt God’s love for you.
- Your times are in His hands – As a result, He will deliver you from all your troubles and He won’t allow any harm to befall you.
- You can draw strength and comfort from His word – Finding a scripture that addresses your need, meditate on it and in the place of prayer ask for help and grace to handle the situation.
Christ follower you have nothing to worry about because your times are in God’s hands – so Rest in Him. If you are currently not a Christ follower, the one who has the power to give and take away our life is calling – come.
All glory to God!
