Watch what you Hear & Pray

My friends, the negative things we hear not only has the ability to erode our values and damage us emotional, they can also hinder us spiritually through the weakening of our faith because we focus on what is said, rather than the ability and greatness of our God who is able to override what has been said.

The Bible reminds us in Romans 10:17 that “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ”.

When we choose to hear according to God’s plan, our life will be marked by:

  • Prayer – To silence every negative voice that is not from God.
  • Unshakable faith – The faith that is unwavering in the storms of life – no matter what.
  • The love for God and His word – Through the application of it in our daily lives, we become doers with the proof of a changed life.
  • The love for others – We are compelled to share the good news of the gospel we have received with others by encouraging them to learn how they too can hear the voice of the good Shepheard – Jesus.

Christ follower, keep watch on what you hear this week and pray! If you are currently not a Christ follower, what are you waiting for? Life without Christ is futile – come.

All glory to God!
