The God Who Calmed the Storm

“Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.” (Mark 4:38-39)

In the blog post “The God who calm the Storm”, Agnes enlighten us with how the  Spirit of the Lord ministered to her during the passing of Hurricane Irma. As she realized that people are afraid of the storm, but are not afraid of the God who calms the storm, she reflected recognizing that we have peace because the God of Peace has given us His peace.
